Since forming in mid 2006, the London based indie rock band, REDINGER, has gone through a number of supporting members in its unwavering quest to obtain the right formula. Well, the band has some new faces and frankly speaking, the chemistry has never been better!

The Power Rock Trio has strengthened its roster by welcoming newcomer,
Thom Edwards on drums. Having influences in Funk, Hip Hop, Rock, Blues, Punk and Metal, Thom is an integral addition to the REDINGER line-up. His energetic, animated, yet controlled drumming style is multilayered with fun, passion, aggression, and sensitivity. Thom gives REDINGER that monstrous bottom end rock sound with an immense vigor.

On bass guitar, the band has incorporated
Jason Shapanz, who has a long history playing as a fill-in bassist for REDINGER since 2007. Jason’s solid rhythm serves as a pillar for the charging rock songs of REDINGER. He also adds a balance of musical colour to the band with his imaginative bass runs.

Lastly, there’s original member and founder of the band,
Jeff Redinger, whose soulful vocals and catchy guitar riffs navigate the ensemble. Jeff admits, “When I first envisioned the REDINGER live sound, this is what I was looking for. It’s taken two years to find, but now with Jason and Thom in the band, the REDINGER sound is bigger, fuller, and grittier than ever before.”

REDINGER recently signed a management contract with
FWM (Free World Management). Together they plan on having the band play extensively this year, so be on the lookout. See the New REDINGER band live >>

As for music, there’s a new rock album on the way titled, ‘
Bound & Blazed’, which is in its final stages of production with Burlington producer Steve Hreceniuk. The album is scheduled for release in Fall 2008. In the meantime, people can sample the band’s most recent music from their new 2008 EP, ‘
The Restless Storm.
